Don't drink it all - the residue is at the bottom of the cup. Also - get loads of "froth" - the more the better.

I now much prefer a small cup of strong coffee, than a mug.

I thought it might be, found a brill little lesson with pics online and they said the grounds sink to the bottom also. A slight grittiness doesn't bother me....if it's wet, hot and loaded with caffiene I'm a happy girl!

Going to order me one-will let you know how I get on!

You can't really compare an Aeropress and a perculator,they make different coffee. It's a bit like comparing filter coffee with a cafetiere - completely different methods of making coffee.   

We really like our perculator collection and our coffee isn't bitter. We can also make coffee for 6 people in around 5 minutes.
