Hi molliejollie and welcome to UKCS. Never thought about B&Q having camping gear so may have a look. You realise camping and this forum becomes addictive? It starts with the first post - and soon you are hooked in. Hope you have many enjoyable camping trips. The suitcase type stoves are among the best inventions, stable and easy to use anywhere.

Off on Saturday but realised today I hadn't got around to getting a couple of new air beds.  Great I thought B&Q sale have them.  I went on line and checked the stores in my area had them in stock - yes.

30 mins drive to store, hunted high and low couldn't find them.  Spoke to a member of staff & manager who informed me that the on line B&Q runs a day behind the stores.  So what is showing in stock today may have totally been sold out yesterday - which is my case was the beds.   I'm glad I wasn't standing to close to the hammers !!!!  DONT BELIEVE WHAT YOU READ ON LINE.

So I have 24hours to find 2 air beds - Challenge Anneka here I come.  If you're away this weekend and hear a couple exchanging moans & groans on how hard the ground is - its probably us.

Stocks 24 hour behind also is True for B&Q's prices. I once placed an "Reserve and Collect" order from the web. The website quoted me one price..'cause the items were on offer. But then paid in the store offer price was no longer valid and required to pay full price!

T he suitcase stoves are brill, I have one for sea fishing, but at that price grab several packs of the cannisters, it's not as if they can go out of date is it?

We have 2 of the suitcase stoves, can't rate them highly enough. We never bothered with a posh 2 ring one, just use these instead.

The bas cannisters are a great price.
