Can you recommend what pans/kettle to buy. I dont want to spend a fortune if unnecessary but at the same time would prefer to buy equipment that will last.

Thank you!

We take our pans from home - much better than the camping ones and you don't have to buy anything ... some people might see the latter as a downside

I bought Argos cheap saucepan set £6.99 for 3 i think it was and just keep it with my camping stuff, non-stick, with lids in fact I think they are better than my expensive set I keep in the kitchen!  My kettle has a whistle too - otherwise how can you see when its boiling!

I like the shape of the kettle and a non-whistler even better. Similar one in GoOutdoors but was only with a panset. Where did you buy it or was it part of a set?

Hi, We bought the Argos £6.99 value pan set, and in the B&Q sale we got a Gelert 2Ltr whistle kettle. The whistle is a bit of a small puff but at least you can tell when its boliing. :)

I use my good quality stainless steel pans from home, nothing burns on them and they are easy to clean, unlike lightweight camping pans.

I would advise a cheap set from one of the supermarkets, the reason they're cheap is because they are lighter and thinner so will therefore cook quicker, and these are the same reasons people buy aluminium pots & pans.

Most people prefer whistling kettles, it sort of sets the mood for each day!

Hi, I got it from my local camp shop http://www.bchcamping.co.uk/

It isn't part of a set. Ask your local campingaz stockist for part number 202027.
