I got some plain navy ones in tesco for £2 each and some stripey ones for £2.50, not sure if they will still have any though.

I saw the most gorgeous "soft touch" cream throw in Matalan last night. It felt soooooo soft and squashy and it was nearly in my basket, ideal to snuggle up to - it was £12 though not sure if in your budget range.

Definitely try Primark, I bought my recent ones for £1.50 each - they are a hideous orange stripe (sorry to anyone that chose them previously!) but they were cheap.
I also bought one that was less than £2 from Asda - they often have cheap fleece blankets, especially if you aren't concerned about the colours.

Definitely Primark - I got some beautiful ones in there, soft touch and really nice and snuggly, for £5 each. Much better than the Asda or Tesco ones. I bought a couple for home but then bought another couple to use as throws in the caravan and they cover the whole seat and back, so not a bad size.

I bought a couple during Ikea sale about a year ago, good thick and big one for under 3.00 GBP!
