Hello all
Just had a trial run pitching our new zenobia 6 today and we were thrilled with it, loads of space for me n hubby, 2 kids and loopy dog! We have a query though that we hope you experienced campers will be able to help with-there is a tape/canvas loop attached to the base of each ring and pin, what is this for? do you slip the pole through it before you insert the pin for extra security? Do you peg it? or is it used to pull the tent into shape prior to pegging to avoid pulling on the pole itself? Your advice would be much appreciated.
We will be in Bamburgh in 2 weeks and can't wait!!
Thanks Tx

Hi and welcome .
I use the strap to pull the tent into position, and to grab to hold the ring in place before putting it into the pole.

You dont put the pole through the strap first.
you peg through the metal ring .

You could peg the strap down as well in very windy conditions for extra security.
Hope you have a lovely time
