Does anyone know who has 5 day cool boxes in stock in the north manchester area? After a wasted trip to Costco, despite phoning and being told there were 8 in stock (grrrr) none of the nearby camping stores seem to have a clue what I am talking about!
I would really like to see one to get an idea of just how big they are, are how little space you get inside them. Then I will be able to work out if the cost is justified!!!
Thanks for reading

You mainly have the choice of an Igloo Maxcold or a Waeco coolbox.

I have a large Igloo (95L) which I bought off here and am delighted with it. It is huge and does last at least 5 days. I put a layer of ice in the bottom and can keep all my cold stuff plus the essential beer & wine cold for this length of time. It's also a plus when EHU is not available for an electric cool box.

thought I had replied to say thank you for the helpful replies, but when I checked the thread.......nothing. So thank you everyone.
the one on the link seems nice and cheap, Does anyone know why the icy tec ones are so expensive? There is a thread about them further up the page

thanks for the replies. I still can't believe that the camping shops round here don't even know what I'm talking about.

'cos they're from Australia. I import loads of stuff from there, and by the time the freight is added on, and then import duties, the prices are right up.
