Hi everyone,
I have been trying to find LED strips for stairs but haven't gotten to the end of search. Any ideas or recommendations?

Hi joe.smith, have you looked on Ebay, just type in LED and it will sshow  millions of things but from this you should be able to find something that will give you the correct name to re-type and find exactly what you need.  We are currently after some LED's to change the lights in our caravan, we need bulbs and a strip light, so when I am backl from my week away I will find this post to see how you went on. 'We are currently after some LED's to change the lights in our caravan, we need bulbs and a strip light,'

I would try one bulb first.  I tried one and took it back to maplins with the receipt.  i didn't like it at all.

Halfords have them. Look in the section for tuning and customising. They do a pack of 2 that are supposed to make your car look like an Audi, 12 volt, 14 led`s in a flexible strip, price IIRC £20

I'm not too impressed with LEDs as ambient lighting. Sure, they are bright (sometimes dazzling) to look at but they don't seem to cast anything like enough light to see what you're doing in comparison to conventional lighting. I have a 'work' light with about a zillion LEDs and a smaller sized one with a low energy bulb. The low energy bulb one is loads better for illuminating the awning than the LED one which 'looks' brighter but doesn't actually light anything up...
In conclusion (and in my opinion), LEDs are fantastic marker lights but not so good as room lights. I hope that makes sense...

Blimey, that's expensive Got 2 for about £2 off Ebay. Came from Hong Kong in about a week.
