Hi all.

Im after a couple of lanterns, one has to be wind up and the other can be battery or rechargeable.

Id like to hear what others are using too !

Very bright and one charge lasts 3-4 weekends.

I've picked myself one of these today.  Windup, runs of 3 AAA batteries or you can charge the internal battery using a car cigarette lighter or mains with the adapter.

Or..depending on what you are using it for, plenty fo stores are selling off garden solar lights.  We have a couple that the kids use to read by.  When they go out, bedtime!

We bought the Lidl remote control LED lantern and it is fantastic.

I can hang it up outside the awning, take the dogs for their bedtime piddle time using the usual head torch and on coming back to the van, light the lantern from about 30 or 40 feet away to light up all the danger points like guylines, BBQ etc.

Cheap as chips and very useful.
