You want it over all the ridges if you can. As said above just put some boiling water in a cup and soak the end of the pipe for a few seconds, it'll then slip on easily.

One thing if you're doing this, let the pipe cool down for a while before you put tighten the Jubilee Clip* up otherwise it's liable to cut into the pipe. This is usually the point at which you then take the pipe off again because you forgot to slide the clip on ready.

*You were putting a Jubilee Clip on weren't you?

yes it should be all the way on and secured with a jubliee clip

the hot water will work well to get it on but they are just as difficult to get off I have now fitted my stoves with quick release couplings and they are great as my stove wont go in the bag with the hose and regulator still fitted

it is the couplings that rockford linked to they are great

I have fitted the loose nozzle on the stove and the valved coupling is fitted to a length of hose and the regulator on the other end

I have two of these made up so i can easily switch between the 907 and the calor 4.5kg

Yeah ive got them too.

Useful if you get a spare nozzle or two - i keep the body bit of the coupling on the cylinder hose and then you can clip whichever appliance you want to use into it. easy :)
