I was in our local Tesco Metro today and picked up a Camping Gaz Bistro Stove for £2.25.

Dont know if its just our Tesco or if its Nationally, but it might be worth a look.

Good Grief!!!

I bought mine at a sale price of 11 GBP from Millets last month.

I live near a Tesco Superstore, they have the double burner, but not the Bistro.
There must be a 'Metro' not too far away.

Maybe they're only available north of Hadrians Wall? LOL

I phoned two of my local Tesco's. One's a Metro and the other is a superstore.

The superstore didn't have any Bistro's in stock but the lady did say that they weren't marked as special and would cost £14.99.

The irony is I'm off to buy one these tomorrow anyway so £2.25 would have been ideal. Go Outdoors have them at £7.99 marked as the Hi Gear Portable Camping Stove:
