Hi Puckarino.
Having just retired we are 'born again' caravanners, and one item we went for is the Apache Monte Carlo. I got the following from a website:
"The Apache Monte Carlo is the most deluxe porch of its style available, manufactured in polyamid, which is heavier duty than the materials used by its peers. The Monte Carlo also features far stronger zips than other dome tent style porches and comes complete with proper, awning style curtains."
I will confirm that it does what it says on the tin. For two people it doubles as a portch and/or awning. It is SO EASY to put up - a one person operation is actually easier than having help! The curved poles are spring loaded, very light, and zip into pockets in the awning making the whole thing VERY stable. Withstood a night of very strong wind in The Lakes last week and didn't budge.
Only thing I would suggest is to read the instructions before purtting it up - they definitely know best! Zip the poles in as you go.
Had a bit of a sloping pitch but the rubber 'ladders' are quite long, so it was ok.
The polyamid does not get wet, so if I'm dismantling after Rain I wipe off excess water, fold it up loosely, and spread it out for a quick dry when I get home.
Recommended best buy!
Enjoy!
