Hi,

I'm thinking of purchasing a Towsure coolbox and running it with a 907 butane gas bottle.

Does anyone have an idea how long the gas bottle will last with continious use?

Many thanks.

14 days exactly. I have the same fridge and tested it with a full 907.
I changed over to calor gas 4.5kg as it is much cheaper.

£15 for the 4.5kg calor refill, compared to £18.99 for the 907 which is only 2.7kg .

Fantastic , wouldn't camp without it . cool it right down on mains the night before for best results . I have the 20 degree below ambient temp, but still have ice cold drinks and food , even in the hottest weather . There is a newer version, more expensive that cools to 30 degrees below.
They have to be level, so take a small spirit level and some offcuts of wood in case of a sloping pitch

Hi Debbie,

Hope you don’t mind me asking you another question/s!!??

I didn’t realise that if you connected the cool box to a gas supply you had to light the gas??

How does this work if you use it in a medium size tent??...is there much heat coming from the flame??.....is there much fumes??....I take it that ventilation is a must??

Many thanks

Ian
