we have a wynnster leisure shelter.  All 4 sides can be taken off or you can just take one or 2 off to cook under.

It's stable and dead easy to put up.  Currently its up in the back garden as dh has been glossing internal doors in it for the last month.

I agree with the previous comment about go for a day tent rather than a gazebo.  Far more sturdy and gives you more options.

We've got a Khyam quick-errect screen house.  Definitely not cheap or light but an excellent piece of kit.  I put it up on my own whilst hubby gets the water.  Every time we use it we get enquiries and admiring glances.  Can highly recommend it.

 I have just used my vango family shelter and was pretty impressed that it stod up to some heavy rain and gusty winds that we had on thursday night. Seems to be simple lightwieght and easy to put up and down.

I bought a tarp from Blacks which came with two poles and guys to make a shelter. I think it was £!0 (I haven't used it yet though!).

We just use the Vango Adventure Tarp - even rigged it up at home from the balcony and had a successful BBQ in the rain last week... A couple of minutes to put up and even less time to take down. Only 2m by 3m approx but big enough to protect an oval table and 6 chairs...
