After my first pitch of the tent yesterday I had another go today in the garden on my own.
Managed to get it up ok, so at least I know if anything happens I can manage on my own.
I have realised I have some questions though now I have put it up again. The tent is a Kalahari 10.
Questions
1. Along the short sides, without poles thera are double elastic rings and nylon rings. Are these pegged seperately or together?
2. The same is along the edges with the poles. Should the poles go through the nylon ring and the elastic double ring then pegged seperately or together.

I am sure there will be more questions when I go out and have another look.

thanks all

Shell

Have you looked where the bedroom pods fit?  on the corners of some pods there are hook fasteners that clip on the nylon rings, they hold the pods in shape. I usually use elestics for pegging out, seems to hold better with a bit of flexability. hope this helps.

That doesn't help when I now have the tent. That's what you get when you are new to camping :D

dogtlotdog.....These rings aren;t on the inside they are both on the outside. The elastic ones seem to be under the nylon ones.

We'll get you sorted out at Pillaton - don't stress about it :0))

It's hard to picture it when you casn't actually see it and I've no personal experience of your particular tent or brand.
Don't worry about makes - so long as it keeps you dry and warm then it's all good and well.
