I really like the look of the long Delta one, and I assume the one from Jacksons is similar. Val - Jacksons is still going. by the way - the last time I wnet they were still using West Midlands caravans, but hoped to be moving into one of their 'out-buildings', while they do the rebuild.

This months Camping Magazine has an article about camping for people with disabilities. It gives a plug for this extractor. Whilst most bespoke "disability" equipment is never cheap this isn't too expensive as things go, but much over the few quid we expect to pay for a "normal" peg puller.

It's is just a glorified lever, but may help those who suffer with bad backs.

Edit: Just looking at the home page for the device and Camping Magazine show a picture of it being used incorrectly wich resulted in broken pegs!

It's nothing to do with the price, just annoying they advertise it as 'KING SIZE' '

' when it's actually no bigger than an average tent peg which, like another poster said,I already use anyway. '

I've got the long one from Delta and it's fab - really well made. The ones with plastic handles, like the Gelert one, the handles tend to come off.

I used to use an old bent tent peg, then started using a claw hammer and I wouldn't use anything else now. I can get round the awning and pull all the pegs out in less than half the time it used to take.
