Paul, a suggestion...for longer poles look for army surplus jobs. Can often get them in lengths of 2.2m (or is it 2.4 - can't remember). I've got a couple and they really help with head room.
I wish there was a place near me that sold the Quecha tarps - I want one, but can't find one. Can anyone help?
Pete got ours off flea-bay £34 inc delivery and arrived next day well happy, and the poles are in sections about 12" bits that lock together so hoping go-outdoors sell them as our new store opens tomorrow yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
and the volvo you can see in the background on the third picture broke down this afternoon and if i cant fix it we wont be going to the orchard next week
Pete, look here for the tarps ;-http://www.decathlon.co.uk/EN/tarp-3243880/ Try camping shops or Army and Navy supplies for long poles. don't know your location pete, but my nearest store is Stockport and delivery was £5.99 for a base seconds ?
Thanks Jon Dogs! Just found that Lakeside store will deliver to me for £3.99, and cost of tarp+poles is £19.99. £24 all in - can't grumble at that.
I'm about to order but am wondering how quality compares to the army issue ones. The Quechua is definitely a bit bigger, but I'd like to see pictures of the corner reinforcing. Anyone got any?
