I have a Monty 6 and have just arrived back from a weeks camping. On Monday we had major rain for most of the day and the tent leaked slightly. It was on the first roof section right down the middle (side to side). The tent was nice and taught and has not leaked before, the leak was an occasional drip along the centre line in various places. Can this be remedid? I was thinking of getting a tin of Fabsil (or similar) and painting the inside of the roof panel. Is this a good idea? I have read on t'internet that reproofing from the inside can lead to condensation problems but as the nylon is so thin surely the solution would soak through from whichever side it was applied?
Any thoughts/experience would be appreciated
John
