I have a single ring elecrtric thing, which is useful. I took a small electric kettle and a halogen heater as well, but didn't use them all at once though!! Small ovens are obtainable though, as Tony says.
we always take a slow cooker, only 800watt.we do joints of meet in it ,spag bol and all sorts, its great to go out for the day and come back to tea already done.we've just brought a multi cooker from jtf,1500 watt but does everything youneed.as long as you check the ampage on site you wont have any trouble.the BIG plus is your using the sites elec and not your own gas.you can do anything with ehu as long as your sesable.switch things like kettles off when using the heater and you'll have no probs
We have a double induction hob at home. Not taken it camping yet but may well do when we use ehu. It gets to heat instantly although you do need pans that are suitable (try with a magnet and if the magnet sticks they are ok).
It has one 1000 watt and one 1800 watt ring so if both on high at the same time it will draw over 10 amps but rarely do we have ours much higher than half power except when bringing pots to the boil. Unlike a lot of electric hobs they stick at a temperature rather than coming on and off.
always had problems getting my head around using electric hobs and camping! the problem they have is that they take so long to cool down and if theres ever a problem then you have had it!
il stick to my gas, its safer and also knowing that im not going to trip out the entire site when i switch it on!

Thats the beauty of induction, summit with the magnetics it heats the pans not the surface so once removed its basically cool/warm to touch not scolding, great for tents and lil ones on the go.
