Hi there, was wondering if anyone can help, we have the alko stabiliser triple pack on our tow hitch, we purchased our caravan with this already on, but theres a ball thingy with it, excuse my ignorance of not knowing what the ball thingy is called....well i was wondering if anyone can tell me what its purpose is lol, we know what the other 2 things in the triple pack do but not the ball bit....

you are supposed to put the ball in the hitch when not attached  to protect the friction plates and also make it difficult for the "badies" to drop your hitch over a fixed pin and tow your caravan away.
