Hi, Does anyone have any recommendations for a sleeping bag that would be used in a caravan.  Would prefer a kingsize that would zip together to make a double when necessary.  Would be used I think over three seasons.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi leicester campers-- we camp all year round, yes winter over the New Year as well and we always have superkingsize bags, 60oz--maybe too warm for some but we do not have to have blankets on as well.  I always say get the best of what you can afford as it will last a lot longer than something that will 'do for now',  Some retailers do deals on buying 2 of somethings, have a trawl round the internet. cheers gary

My boys use their sleeping bags in the caravan and I never go away without my Raskelf Duvalay. I have the standard winter weight one - lovely!!

Are those prices for real.

I would think there are much cheaper alternatives for caravan use that are just as good.

Wow, the raskelf duvalay looks wonderful, but I must admit are not in my price league.  Thanks for the info though, maybe in time we will be able to buy them but I need four and am not prepared to pay over £450.00 just yet.  The 60oz sleeping bag looks to be in my budget - or would buying a sleep liner do the same job if I put it inside my existing sleeping bag?

We always used duvets in our van as it's not so cold as in a tent.
