I seem to be a little confused (nothing new!). I can't work out what the difference between the large sun canopy and the tunnel extension? We use the 3rd pod so are looking for something we can attach to the lipped door on the side but can't seem to work out which thing to buy! As the prices will start to come down now, wanted to get one in the winter for next years camping trips.

Ah, fab pic!! Yes, it does look a bit dubious - something to blackmail him with later lol! Anyway, yes, that looks just the ticket. Can I ask you if you cook in the porch/tunnel extension or do you take the cooker ouside?

We got sold a canopy as being suitable but for the side door it isn't, only the end door with the 3rd pod removed(so you end up with a 4 berth, useless). Luckily got our money back and picked up the last tunnel extension from an online place a couple of weeks back in same colour as above pics. £50...does the job perfect as previous poster says. I know it's naughty but we have cooked inside it though mostly with door up on poles, just make sure we leave a bit of space between cooker stand and the walls. The fit is much better than the canopy was and can be used on either side door

£50??? You got a hell of a bargain there!
I prefer to cook with the door down actually, so as to avoid the flame getting blown about by the wind. I usually have the kitchen a good foot away from the side of the porch, and the area around the stove doesn't even get slightly warm.
The fit on the side of our Albany 600 is nigh on perfect, barely even a hint of a gap between the porch and the tent. It makes such a difference to the usable space in the tent, definitely one of my top purchases.
It's the first time we've pitched with the Tunnel Extension, and the fit was much better than I'd expected. I do have some closer shots of where it meets the tent, I'm just waiting on the Vango Tunnel Extension being added to the tent review section so I can upload them there.
