a total of 4 awnings/utility tents mercifully none expensive but I only use 2
I'm looking for a utility tent, mainly to cook in for next season, which ones do you have? Which are the ones to avoid?
Hi I originally bought a nearly new drive-away awning from a guy on ebay.-Trigano Eurotent. Havent figured out how to put that up yet..... its got poles and its quite big and Im on my own so erecting stuff in the wind is a nightmare..
Then got a High-Gear Utility tent from GoOutdoor- love it -can be used for shower/potty/storing stuff/cooking but again poles, etc. ( cheap too )
My fav is the Quecha Base Seconds. Pop- up. No groundsheet-brilliant for all outdoor stuff. However impossible to dismantle in a strong wind on my own.
The one I use all the time is a small fishing shelter which Id bought years ago from Aldi for £10. Takes 5 minutes to put up. Has a zipped front panel. No guy ropes, 4 corner pegs. Not very high but big enough to cook in and store stuff. Easy to dismantle in any weather.
In ideal weather conditions the Quecha wins. In bad weather the fishing shelter does. If there are 2 people to erect the utility tent it makes all the difference.
