We use a front cover. We always wash and dry the front of the van before we put ours on. Ours havent got that many buckles or straps, but it takes us about 15 minutes to put it on and we do tweak the positioning of it a few times until we are happy with it.

Thats what i thought.
Towed the new van home on Sunday on wet motorway.
It was relatively clean except for the front, which was real dirty from my road wheels, a few tar spots and a pile of squashed flies, as the sun came out on the way home!
When i picked it up, the van was spotless so one run in wet weather and the fronts filthy.

Is yours the one on Ebay or another make.
How does yours actually attach/buckle to the van?

We didnt buy ours off e bay but from here http://www.coverscaravans.co.uk/frontonlycaravan.htm
They ask us what height and width size did we want, to be safe we measured the van ( twice lol)
Ours have on each side 3 straps with clips and you slide that into the awning chanel, on the cover you have 3 buckles. At first it was trickey but we found it we put the middle clip/ buckle on each side , next put the top clip/buckle on then the bottom set. The rest of the time we found was adjusting the cover / buckles for a snug fit.
We are thinking of using these   http://www.clingons.co.uk/ underneath the wet lock, to hold it in place, even though it hasnt slipped or moved while towing.
Our van is in storage, so not going down for about 2 weeks or i would take a photo for you.
Hope this is some help to you.

Got an update on this.
Thanks for your picture.
We went for this half cover from protec.
Made to order for each van.Two pieces slide into each awning channel. Front piece just buckles on. Just need to trim the straps, which they say to do once its adjusted for your van.
Takes about 30 sec's to fit!
Price was £35 delivered.

Hi just wondered how you are getting on with the towing covers, as it's been a few months now trying them out?

I am in 2 minds about which size to go for the full front cover or half?
Having used these, what's the verdict? Any lessons advice to give me before I part with my cash to get one?
