We have one of these and it is a great piece of kit. I reckon we could easily squeeze another couple of bods in, but two of ours are children - are you thinking of 7 adults?

Hi Tracey thanks for your post. 2 adults 5 kids.
Also how does it pack down- where do benches go?
Is the fold in middle of table strong enough when erect?
You could buy something like this. It's doubtful if it would seat 7, but 2 would. The advantage is, they are light and they fold down into a long bag (rather similar to the cheap fold down chairs, but longer). There are different makes of these slatted tables, but we have found them excellent. Put a table cloth on it and it looks very presentable IMHO. (For the old hands on here, sorry about the photo again!):

The table folds into 3 and the benches and stools are packed in the middle. I would say it is reasonable strong and stable, but I suppose it depends what ground it's on. We haven't had any problems with it, and the benches and stools make it very versatile We use Outwell Columbia chairs at each end for the adults, and the kids get a bench each, but I would think you would have no trouble fitting 5 kids and 2 adults around it. I would definitely recommend it to anyone!
If you have a Go near you then pop in to have a look.
well..we have a lovely little bistro set with two seats..that does the adults, tehn with the high chair and 4 chairs, our kids go on a seperate table...if we position it right, we can even pretend that we're on our own !!!! lol
must admit its far easier and cheaper to take 2 tables of the same, and butt them up together!

We have a lovely folding camp table with a slatted aluminium top - think it's a Sunncamp? Very light, sturdy, easy to use and it has seated 8 for dinner on many occassions.
