I tried replying to thsi twice - but the link wasn't working - maybe third time lucky.
When I get an old boat trailer I usually give the suspension units a good check for corrosion, the galvanising on them is much weaker than on the main frame. To test them I load them with weight and watch to see they move smoothly, no jamming or odd noises, and make sure they return smoothly as well.
Also give the stub axle a good twist to check for play.
To be honest the degree of suspension they offer is rudimentary, for some of my more delicate boats I prefer to slightly reduce the tyre pressure which helps a bit. I have an ancient boat trailer which simply uses a longitudinal metal plate that flexes, and it tows like a dream.
