Not sure of the height but did you check the Kampa range, we have one of the Rally awnings and are very pleased with it.

..........we have a Kampa Fiesta and are also extremely pleased with it.  It comes in two sizes - ours is the bigger of the two - the 350.  Very sturdy, steel poles.

Ref above Kampa post's, both only offer upto 250cm height regretably.

However, have you actually measured the height to the awning rail Klari, as 261cm does seems quite high; I wondered if you'd taken the height from the spec which would include rooflight, aerial etc...

PS: That Kampa you've posted photo's of David looks to be a nice generous size, depth wise - well impressed.

My thoughts too.  The overall height of our van is 2.58m/ 8'6", that is only 3cm shorter than yours.  My guess that this is the overall height of your van and not the height from the ground to the awning rail.  Most of the new porch awnings fit modern vans.  The problem usually occurs the other way as older vans were often less tall.  I think I'd check the measurements, and I hope you will be pleasantly surprised.

Have you got this measurement from out of the manual if so that probably includes the aerial on the roof etc so i would double check yourself and measure from the rail down to the ground.
