I have a 27mm clip on gas regulator on the propane bottle

I managed to get the regulator to clip onto the bottle and the small lever allowed to gas to flow

All fine

Trouble is when i packed up, couldn't work out how to undo the regulator from the bottle. 

The owner of the campsite eventually got it free by pushing and pulling what i think was the small lever

Can anyone confirm how you actually get the regulator off so i can do it next time.?!

It depends on the regulator, with gas lever in off position, some you push lever in, on others you push lever sideways then lift off.

no idea what youre talking about val..but... can you post a pic of the hook things you use on your pole of the bell?? i have been trying to discribe them to OH but he thinks i have just gone insane !!!

If its the type with the red catch on the black plastic lever, you need to lift catch to move lever. Turn lever so catch is in down position & regulator will lift off.

Its the same kind i have on a fire and yep deffo press lever in and lift off.
