As Bob says, lots and lots of threads to read.
But just to add to it all ....
Don't be tempted to buy one of the fake Trangias like what I did. I struggled and struggled with it, threatened it, bounced it off the walls in temper, swore at it and then gave up. Until someone suggested that I buy a genuine Trangia burner.
What a revelation. Now it works, and I don't have to wait all weekend for my cupfull of water to boil.
It's still a very leisurely stove, so I wouldn't dream of taking it along when there are 15 hungry monsters screaming for their beans, and it would have a problem coping with steak and chips and two veg. But, for an all-in-one cooking gadget for a patient person, I reckon that it's worth a shot.

Had the same problem with a Swedish Army surplus Trangia, was so close to going out to buy a gas stove until a friend lent me their Trangia. So much easier to use, and the kettle will boil long before the fuel runs out!
Having said that, there are some people who like the military version, and get on just fine with it.
Also worth noting (in my experience) the Lidl copies work almost as well as the real thing
