It's the wrong time of year but Costco usually have an oversized sleeping bag from spring onwards.   OH is 6ft 2 and errr not skinny (think I got away with that one!) and he loves his. I can't remember the make and it's packed away now but he really likes it.   It's the first time he's had a sleeping bag that he can actually curl up in rather than just having to lie straight.

They've been discussed on here before so it might be worth a search for large sleeping bags

We have the Campus Adventure 300XL sleeping bags which measure 240cm long by 95cm wide.
Gorgeous bags and really snuggly and warm. Bought them from our local camping and caravan store about 4 years ago. Think they cost about £30.

Double bed quilt folded and sewn into a sleeping bag shape will give you the size at a fraction of the price

Fishing sleeping bags are generally much bigger than standard camping ones.

Umm, no it wouldn't. It is about 7'2" tall and if like me, you're 6'2", that isn't exactly acres of space length wise. Also the width is less than 3', so if you're 2' wide at the (bottom of) the shoulders/biceps, then 5" of wiggle room either side isn't exactly massive either.

Yes it would, unless you keep your head in the bag 7'2" plus a head is at least 8'
Tis true, I got the waist wrong - it can't be any more than 5'10". It wouldn't be at all comfortable, but it would be possible.
BTW, if you look at the RFLMAO emoticon in my post, you'll see that I wasn't really being serious

We have Outwell Contour XL sleeping bags, they are really big and cosy. Just checked they are 235 x 105 cm.

It's a shame that Alpkit, the makers of the sleeping mats, don't do a proper long and wide down bag. They said that they were going to at one stage but nothing has come of it yet

We have used large bags for a while and are thinking of replacing them this year, have a look at the Coleman Hampton 220.

They are very similar to what we have now, plenty of room inside and fleecy lined.

Vango Nitestar 300Xl is an envelope style bag and I'm sure it measures 230 x 110 and is suitable for user height of 205

The Coleman Hudson 450 is 235 x 90 and is the warmest sleeping bag I've ever used. Currently £22.99 at Amazon

Any good fishing store will have large sleeping bags, my self and my fiance have Wychwood Maximiser 5 season sleeping bags 240 x 100, he's an angler so we went with them for camping too. Absolutley fantastic, roomy and sooo warm in all weather even the snow and frost we have been having lately.

You are paying around £50 a sleeping bag, but they are definately worth the money.

Hope this helps

i got quite excited looking at the picture of the Gelert Sleeping Pod XL until i realised a midget was used in the picture
on examination of the sizes its no bigger than my gelert super spirit DLX just a different shape.240cm x110cm

the above is a bit snug (but not as snug as the non 110cm ones are) being fat i just use it as a duvet without many problems bar the odd foot getting cold if it slips out from the bag
