Has anyone got one of these?
Apparently it is an electric clothes hanger that is enclosed in a plastic bubble and filled with hot air. They appear to be in two different wattages (?is that a word?) - 700 and 1200. I am wondering if anyone has used one of these camping or caravanning?

i got one from maplins a couple of seasons ago and it is great for getting all the beach towels dry after a day at the beach.it packs down smallish and the low wattage one is fine as only heating a small area can highly recomend it.

I think it looks great but I just think, where is all that moisture going to go. If its used outside then fine but I think it would cause to much condensation if it was used in a tent.

Had ours for just over a year now the best dryer we have ever had use it at home in the winter because we are both out at work during daylight hours,a couple of things we do to improve it are use an old fashioned spin dryer more revs than most washing machines, also we put clothes line around the top arms fixing at each point where you would have put a coat hanger this allows lots of things to be pegged on,as for camping it may not be that good as you would be limited as to how much water you could get out first, but after saying that the electric is already paid for so does it matter.
------------- they said it couldnt be done so i left it and went camping
a bad days camping is better than a good day at work

The last post, which was very complimentary about these, was from a mike WILKINSON. Do I sense some subtle advertising here???

Seems to be like a modern version of the Flatley drying cabinet my mum had when I was a kid. Anyone over a certain age should remember these - a square-ish metal cabinet with removeable wooden rods which fit across the width, you hung your clothes on them and plugged it into the mains.

My mum had one of those, she swore by it. 2 kids under 2 no central heating and no disposable nappies, it heated our bedroom!
