Hi, has anyone used delta ground pegs? Looking for the best pegs to hold the tent down that the kids wont be able to get out very easily (our son is very good at things like that) and that will last a while.
yes there are a fair few people who use this and most rate them highly including me.as to the kids pulling them out this will depend on the ground,if it is soft then the pegs pull out easliy (not by the tent as they pull in more as the tent guy line pulls on them but if you pull the peg straight up).
Thought I'd add to this thread since it's the most recent. Just ordered 30 Delta Ground Anchors as we get ready for our first camping trip in 8 years this July. New tent late last year in the sale, new sleeping bags the other day and Deltas today!
Made the order and also sent an enquiry about the 10% discount in association with this site.
Had a reply within half an hour - on a Sunday too! Superb service.
Can't wait to try them after I've read countless reviews on here swearing by them.
I too carry a variety of pegs to cover all ground conditions, including Deltas.

I have now moved from tenting to caravanning and there are only 2 things that I have kept. The first is my Cadac which is an invaluable piece of kit and the second is my Deltas. I have a full awning and a light weight awning both of which I have at times had to secure using Deltas. If they are good enough for Helicopter landing platforms then they are good enough for my awning.

Wouldn't use anything other than my Delta's. I reckon they were the only thing stopping our tent from taking off when we stayed in a fort on top of a hill in gail force winds.
