I have been looking for one for a while and cant find one so if anyone has seen one anywhere please let me know

We bought 2 similar versions of these when we first started camping, one for oh and other for son then 12. He kept turning over and either falling off or upturning it. If you get a chance at a camping supplier,try one first. We have 2 in garage that have never been used (if we haven't thrown them away)

We also had the same problem as Gail, the bed certainly looks great and thats why we bought it for our youngest girl. However when we actually got out to the campsite. We did find that whenever she rolled over, she ended up toppling out of the bed. I'd highly recommend going to your local camp shop and trying the bed out before buying online

thankyou very much for the advice, glad I asked now, I wouldnt want to waste money on one if its no good, shes on a junior airbed at the moment but shes very tall for her age (shes very nearly 5) and I dont know how long thats going to last her so what do you think is the best alternative? Only wanted a camp bed as I think it would be better off the floor as we get quite chilly on airbeds

Emma, do you put anything on the airbed between you and it?
We bought thoseFleecy matress topper things and they make it nice and snug. A folded blanket would work just as good

Hi Emma, our youngest is still on a kampa airbed and he's 5 but will be 6 when next out so will have to check he still fits!. We use foil backed picnic rugs under all our airbeds with fleecy mattress toppers over then fleece sheet. We are all nice and snug. We don't use sleeping bags either as we don't get on with them so just have duvets and blankets if needed.

yeah I think I am going to go for one of the fleecy mattress toppers and stick to the airbeds - we have decided to go for a raised double airbed (for us as we want a new one) and give our double to my daughter rather than buying two new ones
