We have an Estima (Japanese import) and finding it difficult to get roofbars.  Thule not very helpful as they said too many different models.  We have a roofbox but unable to use it last year as we couldn't source the correct roof bars.  Would love to be able to use it again.  Does anyone have any ideas where I might be able to find out which ones I need or if someone has an Estima and knows which ones.

Any input much appreciated.

hi, you dont say what year your estima is but im guessing around 2000,if it is a new shape estima then it is exactly the same as the new shape previa which came into the uk in 2000-2001,we have an 01 model without the roofline bars(lengthways) which i got cross roofbars (toyota ones) for 20quid of ebay second hand,they are about 80-90quid new and are readily available on ebay.if it does have roofline bars fitted then they are on there too.most previa bits are identical as the estimas are specced up versions cheers jk

Hi

I had a 1997 Estima (not high top) and have just listed the roof bars on ebay. (Thule). Not sure what year yours is but if it's 2000- 2009 these will fit. I bought them from roof box co about 4 years ago for over £100. They list them now as £124. They come with fixing screws and are in great condition. (plug plug). Ebay link is

Try Toys 4 Cars,sorted me out with roof bars from a manufacturer called Totus,good gear at a good price,Maybe not a well known name,but manufacture for all of the well known companies,who then put a surcharge on just for putting  their  name to them. Usual script.
