Hi, can anyone suggest an alternative to buying another carpet for our awning in our outwell montana 6?

How about a breathable groundsheet like the ones used in caravan awnings. Look here in the bargain/seconds section. You could use a cheap builders tarp from b&Q if you want a waterproof floor.
