Thanks everyone. One question. Looking at the intex beds which model queen size do you all have and do they gave to specify for outdoor use? Looking at the Queen raised downy topped one.
We used our Intex Queen in our Wynnster Eagle 6 before we got the caravan and it does take up 2 of the 3 'bedrooms', but that also gives space either side so you don't have to 'climb over' and can walk up either side to get in & out of bed. If you have the space in your tent go for it, if not just buy a tent that can take it, we did & it's great.
As far as I know it does not have to be specific for outdoors. When we bought ours from Amazon last year there was nothing mentioned about where it could or could not be used but like any airbed if it was put on sharp stones it would burst. I'm sure we paid =/- £19.00 & I'm sure you'll find they are good value.
I've just checked the Intex web site and the triple height looks great but be careful if your tent walls slope. We have the queen size with headrest which at the moment is £19 97 on ebay (via the Intex site) and I think it is superb & good value for money. Certainly cheap enough to give it a try before spending a lot of money.
