Aye, you haven't lived until you have been owned by a Bichon.

Even though my boxers are short haired they still moult but we have a 2 in 1 recharable vacuum cleaner www.clasohlson.co.uk/Product/Product.aspx?id=135855850

I bought it for the wooden floors at home but it comes apart and packs small enough to be able to take camping if you really needed to.

just hope the link worked.

Hi Floggit, Yes we had a Pop Top Caravan that we had the interior customised for our needs.

However needs change, especially when you get to our age () and the pop top became just too small for us.

The FC gives us oodles of space plus we have interior sprung mattresses on permanently made up beds, a full cooker and a built in heater, all things that we did not have in the caravan.

Oh sure, there are disadvantages too. The main one being no more wildcamping but we have yet to find "the perfect unit" and by gum we have been through a few!

We sold the pop top to a UKCS couple and so it is still in the family so to speak and I am sure that come next season, they will be singing its praises as much as I did.

I'm with Domino Donna... you never know what you've got til it's gone. You reap what you sow and if you give them loadsa love you will get it back tenfold... yes, the heair does but me sometimes but not early as much as they make me laugh - I would forgive them anything!

Just give yr carpet a shake in the orning and you will be fine.. failing that you could buy a cheapish vacuum but to be honest the cheaper ones dont really do much for dog hair you would be better off with a brush or just do it when you get home, like someone else suggested.

Most of all, just enjoy your holiday... forget about the dog hair, mud and grass!!
