So for my birthday i got a griddle to go with my cobb ( got all the bits now except the frying pan- use a modified asda one!)

so bearing in mind that the cobb is really an oven how many of you actually use the griddle?

and do you tend to do roast veg etc and then chuck the meat or fish on the griddle at the last moment

as an aside what yummy things have you done on the griddle?

Thanks

Hi, we have the griddle and you need to get it really hot before its of use.(so don't lift the lid) once its hot its good for steaks, burgers etc, but you really need to get it hot as the heat seems to go quickly once the meat is on. I sometimes cook the steaks with the mesh thing, and let the fat from the steaks hit the coals to get smoke grilled flavor.Good luck an enjoy!!
