I've been looking at ebay water heaters for a while and they always seem to end up at about £150, and as George said, they're not that much to buy new. However the best price I've seen for a new instant is something like £200.

Have got a Sadia instant water heater brand new not been taken out the box but if its for your motorhome probably no good as it was purchased to fit in a static. It draws about 15 amps and would need 2.5 mm cable direct to consumer unit but if any good to anyone its going spare free if its going to be used...........Mick

First instantaneous water heaters are for the most part illegal to use in the confined space of a motorhome or caravan due to rule changes, although once popular it is now deemed dangerous. If your van has one and it can be repaired that's OK?, however it cannot be replaced or fitted as a new installation. The reason apart from the category they have now been 'lumped' into, is the amount of fresh air required to run not being sufficient in the confined space of such as the 'static's' bathroom in which they were often fitted. This of course is similar to the tourer or motorhome. One could be fitted if it is separate to the living space, this would be in a sealed cabinet accessed outside with it's own air supply.

Thanks to livvy3 for the intro and I do have one S/H gas only Carver Cascade 2 if that is of any use. Everything I sell comes with a 6 month and many know longer warranty, to be honest though I have been keeping out of it due to another thread on similar water heater prices. This heater complete and fully tested would be £220.
