Hi peeps, ok need some help. I would like some carpet or warmer flooring in my tent the trouble is my living area is 400cm x 400cm and I can't seem to find any that don't cost more than my tent
Can anyone recommend anything cheap enough?? Buying stuff for our 3 new foster children has left me rather short
B and M bargins do really cheap picnic blankets with protected underthneaths. Or you could just use fleece bankets and use cling ons to find a way to attach them down if possible.
I use picnic blankets with the waterproof underside...pretty much the same as proper tent carpets at a fraction of the price and can be washed in a washing machine easier too. Two of them fit the centre of the tent quite nicely. A proper tent carpet will be fitted right up to the edges of course but then you are only going to walk on the middle bit so why waste money carpeting the edges?
if you use picnic blankets and find them to slippery or move about to much, a roll of this stuff works wonders, (you can get it from pound shops cheaper), its also ideal under air beds, stops them moving about too, it has lots of other uses too, like stopping things from sliding off your car dash ect.. Rubber Grip Mat
------------- If it wont move, try a bigger hammer.
Hi there we used a king sized quilted bed throw in a dark blue didnt show the dirt and was easy enough to take to the launderette when it did require washing, did the job for us
I go down the picnic blanket route. You can lift one, take it outside and give it a good shake, that's not really possible with a carpet.
I also take the dirt trapper mat from the inside of my front door as I'm locking up the house. It makes such a difference to how much mud and dead grass makes it inside the tent.
