Hubby is in town NOW... he has seen this Kitchen stand and asked if he should buy it as we do need something.
What do you think? Has anyone got one already? I don't want a huge one with the poles for water etc... plus from what I have read about cooking under a canopy (which we are about to buy) it would be better to have something which could be kicked out quickly rather than something heavy and trying to drag if there is a fire (just worried thats all).
Any reviews or views would be gratefully received and taken into account before the box has been opened lmao!
Cheers all xxx
------------- 2011! Easter Kiln Park Tenby, June half term Verwood
August Whitefield Forest IOW.... excited!!!!!
We love Woodbridge Inn Pewsey! Its our best yet!
Still rather new to this camping lark!
Well having started out with one of those cheaper zigzag metal wire ones, we looked for a new one this year, we settled on This, I was getting cross with nowhere to chop stuff up and put spoons etc, got it 2nd hand with a bag on ebay, paid £15.00+ pp. really pleased with it.
Janiebabes, I've got the third link (its fine but no windshield unless your cooker has one) The 2nd link will take oyu longer to put together (I hate the ones you have to thread poles through sleeves).
I would go for the Robert Dyas one, I've seen them for £35 in my local camping store and its well made, compact and easy to move around I'd say and the price is fab (now off to peruse that website!!)

I've got the Robert Dyas one and it is fab!! Store all my food in the 'cupboard' and pots n pans and plates, etc on the shelf below. I use a separate table alongside to prepare and dish up. Bought mine in the Range last year.
I like the idea of the enclosed spaces below, ours is open but we do have a seperate enclosed cupboard, and yes the poles can be a nightmare savanne1 !
We have one of the folding kitchens which you've bought. We actually bought a folding cupboard with zipped front from JL Leisure which just fits under the wider part. We also have a larger kitchen which we take when going for a week and was going to sell the folding one, however though about it and decided to keep - best decision we have made, comes on all our weekend trips
Just spotted this "deluxe kitchen stand" http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/redirect.asp?redir=http://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/Lib/Img/Promotions/march-megadeals-21_02_11/brochure-pdf/march-megadels.pdf
on go outdoors website. It's 1 of the folding types with a windshield, looks a good price?
I am thinking of buying 1 myself but was going to wait to see if B&M get anything similar in. Does anyone know if B&M have these when they get their camping gear in or should I buy this?
