As you may (or may not) know Go Outdoors have a good deal on at the moment on Crusader EHU's. We checked on line to see if our local(ish) store (Gloucester) had any in stock and according to their web site there was no stock. There was none available to buy on line either.
By chance we happened to be in Gloucester yesterday and called in as we were in ther area and lo and behold they had a shedload of EHU's.
So the moral of the story is don't rely on the web site - phone the store.

I asked this question when I was in Oxford the other day and was told the following:
The online department is the same as the stores with a level of allocated stock which gets delivered directly to them and if the online department run out of stock they run out but the in store stock stays in store until it is no longer selling or gets withdrawn and then it is available online, you see the stores dont mail out stock and they dont exchange between stores only the online department can do this. Its best just to give us a call and we can tell you if we have what you want here and if we dont have it I can find out who does or you could check online first.
Ah now I understand clearly !!
I went home empty handed and a little confused

I looked at the Crusader EHU instore at Go, but agreed with some of the reviewers that the space between each of the sockets is fairly limited, which can mean a bit of trouble with some style of plug sockets, such as adaptor type plugs.
We opted for the Sunnflair EHU from Camperlands, which is a similar design, but the spacing between the sockets are a bit better, which meant that we had no problems in using all 3 sockets with any of our electrical items. Plus, it's a fiver cheaper at £40. Picked up ours last season a little bit cheaper.
I did try and bargain with the manager but didnt go too great. well to be honest I took the leaflet which had the picture and £25 bargain....what I failed to see was the big boxing day only sign!!...oops I did think that about the sockets. They are a little close together, and why are they positioned downward? surely positioning them so the lead comes straight out the side would have been better
