I'd second that Dezzie. It's much quicker than our cooker at home too! and this is cooking outside in the wind! No big gas bottle to lug around, no rubber pipes, being able to do toast on the dreaded pyramid toaster, being able to refill just about anywhere, it's all good.
I can't believe the price now though. I paid £49.00 for mine new from Yeomans. About £120 now at some places!
The challenge is to get the coffee in the mug before the water's boiled!

All of the coleman dual and multifuel kit is pretty much bullet proof. A lot of it originally designed for the US military to run on fuel they had available, petrol, aviation fuel, chivas regal etc
The lamps are excellent, have the 2 mantle unleaded and it is super bright
The initial outlay is eye watering these days, prices have shot up
I paid £45 for my Coleman Dual Fuel double burner stove in 2006 and Mr Nice Retailer even threw in a full tank of fuel!
When you take into account how much they have gone up by I think I had a pretty good bargain!

We bought ours in 1999 for the princely sum of 35 quid. From Argos of all places!!
Still going strong and although its looking a bit battered over the years, i'd wouldnt dare get rid of it. I'd miss it too much. I might replace the Generator tank this year as im getting a bit of surface rust on the bits where the silver paint has flaked off, but its not affecting the actual workings of it, so I might not bother.

I have a Coley Stove. I think it's a sportster and run it on unleaded and it's tremendous piece of kit. The amount of cooking on one fill is superb!!! Only drawback is the lack of adjustability of the flame it's either a billion degrees or 2 billion degrees !!! You haveto really fiddle with it to get the flame low. But out fishing in minus 7 boiling a kettle of water in a couple of mins is Fantastic! A friend has the double one and a toast rack for his. Excelled stoves!
If I were you I'd go with the extra
Just a quick point I like you had to decide which lantern, In the end I went with the powerhouse twin mantle, for the simple reason the northstar mantles can be hard to get in europe. whereas even if not the genuine item you can always find a tie on type that will do.
