I managed to actually find the puncture hole in my aerobed but now I am not sure of the best way to fix it!
Can anybody advise me whether a bicycle puncture repair kit will do the trick? Or are there any other ways to do it?
Just go to ebay and type in " airbed repair kit " . There only a couple of quid . At least you will get the right colour to match your airbed. Make sure to rub area down with sand paper to add adhesion and blow up bed and leave over night just to check it's ok.
Hope this helps
We bought these when we had a puncture in our Coleman Comfort airbed last year. It's been fine for nearly a year now - that's 42 nights camping. They are clear so no problem matching colours.
Ours was punctured underneath, on the plain PVC side. Not sure if they would work on the flock side.

A lot of us campers have Tenacious tape in our spares kits, I have used this to repair both air beds and inflatable boats with perfect results. Only on the plastic surface though. Not sure if it would work on the flock side.
Just remembered that I did repair the flock side of an air bed with a blob of epoxy resin. I cleaned the area with meths, then just applied the resin.

Thanks for all the tips.
Owennick, we have only had the bed since last summer. The puncture appeared after it was used by my kids on a sleepover and I'm fairly sure it must because they didn't look after it so not sure if Aerobed would replace it under those circumstances!
I've given up with plastic air filled camping beds, as have a lot of other people on this forum. I've never managed to work out how they get punctured, as we treat them with kid gloves. Soft covers on top and underneath. As I already posted, they have been repaired, but we got fed up with waking up to find ourselves on the ground. We now use a mixture of camp beds and SIM's
