Saw this on E-bay. We bought a couple of Bestway ones last year. One wouldn't stay inflated longer than about a couple of hours, so went in the bin

The other was better, but didn't give much back support, so I found it uncomfortable after a while, and a bit low.

Has anyone tried these, if so, what did you think

I'm sorry I don't know about the one you saw on ebay, but I have an Aerobed (costs around £79.99 from Argos) and wow is it fantastic! Inflates within seconds, deflates even faster and stays up for a week or more being slept on every night! Comfy also. I thought it may help x

Like the look of that  We have a bestway one and dont get on with it as you can not rest back without it folding, this looks like it should work well.

Exactly what I was thinking...now to convince o/h that it would be a good buy

The only problem is that we can't use it as a bed. That was never a consideration for me, as I was only interested in a comfy sofa to read on, but last year our eldest used it as a bed so it didn't have to share with his brother. Never mind....if he doesn't like it, he's 19 & can stay at home........would be more peaceful

Having said that, the same company are selling them on Amazon and they're a wee bit cheaper. Will be interesting to see if the Amazon one's get any feed back.

Here is ours, its one of those 5 in 1. We got it from here:
Click Me

It is great, no punctures yet in 3 seasons use and it big enough for my curvy (in other words large) bottom.

Hi Donna,

the back and arms look higher than our Bestway one, which I'm sure would help. Your family certainly look comfy enough

Not sure I could justify £60.00 as opposed to £25.00 for the Airtex one, as I am being made redundant

I could try selling the Bestway one to help with the cost...have to give this one some thought

Hi Donna,
if you don't mind me asking, do you use the electric pump that came with this or your own?

How long does it take to inflate and how often you you need to top it up?

Sorry for all the questions...just like answers to questions o/h is bound to ask

Many thanks

Hi camperclan,

We use the pump that came with it and it's quite easy to inflate, three sections with screw caps. We have used it as a bed too and it's comfortable just like a normal airbed, it's got two large clips around the back that stops it splitting or coming apart that you undo to make it unfold and become a bed. I would guess to do it from in the bag to sitting on it is about 10 minutes. Bag is oversized so getting it back in the bag is a doddle unlike my airbeds, sleeping bags and tent. I would say we top it up every other day but bear in mind me and the other half with two dogs weigh over 35 stone so if your not as round as us you may need to do it less. They are pricey and a considered purchase, we initially invested in two Coleman Loveseats, they were a disaster and punctured on first use so I invested in this with my fingers crossed and so far so good.
Hope this helps.

Thanks Donna,

much appreciated

Have shown o/h this link, and he said although he like the look of the Intex one, he's not keen on the lack of arms...so that sorts that one out

Now need to sort out the best way to advertise the one I bought last year, as o/h has said no sale, no buy new one

Cheers, Karen.
P.S.Husband is on the large/cuddly side, which I would guess made the tipping back bit worse. Our two sons didn't have any problem, but their both pretty light weight. 2 x them = 1 husband
