Hi just wondering if anyone knows if the new 2011 vango carpets are better than the 2010 ones? Or are they just more expensive cos theyre new?!!!

Apparently they are a lot comfier and seem to feel harder wearing if that makes any sense... Not tried them myself though so it might be rubbish..

Just got my 2011 Tigris 800 & carpet, and compared to my 2009 Orchy 500 carpet it is uber soft. Feels thinner if I'm honest but that may be due to the size constraint of it folded as it's probably at least 3 times the area in a bag only 50% bigger. It also wipes clean (doggy footprints) a LOT easier !!!
