We've just bought a Kampa Together Double.

It looks nothing like the picture in the link.

It has 3 sets of 3 feet. Is dark green and black. Slept on it Saturday night, was great with our SIMs on top.

We got it from Norwich Camping & Leisure for £60, not on their website as only came in on Wednesday!

Yes, the car is bigger than the 'van.

I feel at trip to see Stan the Man coming on.     Want to take the kids in the tent over May bank holiday, and this would be ideal for Pip who currently has an external fixator on his leg (blooming great metal cage thingy).and may find sleeping on the ground a little low.

My husband and I tested the kampa double bed the other day, very very easy to put up and down in seconds, but we found it was very noisy (squeaky) when turning and getting onto it x

Could you possibly post some pics, and comment on pack size, ease of assembly etc?

Is there a centre support, or does the canvas span the two side frame pieces only?

What are your thoughts on it?

Thanks a lot.

Hi Mark
The double posada's with the vango double 7.5cm self inflating mat would be possible one of the best set ups you could get..

There is a centre pole, it is easy to put up, I'll post some pics over the weekend as I've left my phone/camera at work (numpty)

The main drawback is the weight, but not an issue for us

I was pleasantly suprised by how stable and rugged it feels, DH is no lightweight!

Is it a big packsize, poppy dog? Can you feel the centre support, when you lay on it?
