Talked to the Whale people at the last CCC national feast of Lanterns meeting. Asked all the design boys and girls who are doing leisure products for their course at university. If we keep on at them perhaps someone will come up with an affordable system. 
And yes use the 12v / battery eBay shower system cheapest way to go. But shower head tooo big to fill kettle  Also agree watch out for your water carrier opening most to small to take the pump.
