You can do paella! Get a wok that sits inside the rim of the cobb (or get the special cobb one) and you can cook most things. I've done a BBQ for 8 with it - fair enough you have to be bit more casual and eat food as it becomes ready, rather than having it all served at once but that to me is part of the fun.
You don't have to use cobblestones - 8-10 briquettes works just as well. I only use cobblestones if I'm in a rush to start cooking but even then they're the cheap alternatives they keep doing at B&Ms.
Don't get rid of it until you've experimented a bit as the possibilities are endless. Just watch a few episodes of Hairy Bikers to see - they seem to cook just about anything on it!
