You can do paella! Get a wok that sits inside the rim of the cobb (or get the special cobb one) and you can cook most things. I've done a BBQ for 8 with it - fair enough you have to be bit more casual and eat food as it becomes ready, rather than having it all served at once but that to me is part of the fun.

You don't have to use cobblestones - 8-10 briquettes works just as well. I only use cobblestones if I'm in a rush to start cooking but even then they're the cheap alternatives they keep doing at B&Ms.

Don't get rid of it until you've experimented a bit as the possibilities are endless. Just watch a few episodes of Hairy Bikers to see - they seem to cook just about anything on it!

ok bob.. i cook for 7 on mine..!!! as you said.. joints of beef/pork (with crackling) are fantastic!

love to cook strips of chicken breast.. pop them into a freezer bag with some olive oil and garlic puree.. and same with curry powder / garam masala

then can cook strips and straight into french bread ( i get 5 sticks) with bag of salad.. sorted!!!
