Hello Steven.
If you do decide to get the Wilkinsons UFO LED lights, and you're handy with wiring, I found that three of them wired in series, work fine off the 12 volt EHU connected to my car battery.
Even my wife is impressed with the output, so she can read in the lounge of our Outwell.
Good luck.
Kind regards James
James,
I like the sound of this, would you mind sharing how you have it set up before connecting to the lights, do you have a junction box for plugging in various items or is it just the lights hard wired to the car battery?
We also use the "UFO" led lights the more leds the brighter they are so it pays to shop around and the batteries last well

Hi jo-jobie, i attached a chain to the lampshade in three positions for stability at the top of the shade and joined together with a split ring and a small carabiner , i can fit all the flex and the plug inside the shade with the bulb still attached as the shade is quite solid .. i also made a draw string bag to put it in , i know i may be sad but its just what i wanted and a good saving ... this is the shade i bought...
LODGEY.....nice shade....any paticular reason for choosing metal?? i use a normal material one on mine!?...is metal a better choice or is it just that you like this one??? or was it easier to attach the chain to??
its easier to attach the chains to plus it is sturdy won't break the bulb if dropped . looks really nice as it lets light all round .. looks like the outwell style but more compact!!
