Ordered items on 6th May and paid, thank goodness, by credit card. Contacted Towsure and asked where the items were after 10 days and was told "It's 10 to 14 working days for delivery" I have since checked and that's not what they say on their delivery, terms and conditions

Contacted them again yesterday and was told that the items I ordered were out of stock hence no delivery. "I can't understand why you weren't contacted" said the Towsure man. I've heard that excuse before and it doesn't cut it. Towsure are now sending part of the order.

I buy quite a lot of things on-line and this is the worst service I've received for a long time. Please don't misunderstand me, I'm not having a go at the man who took the call but shopping on the www couldn't be easier if you know what you want and there's a lot of other companies out there.

Hi. I too am rather disappointed by the length of time it takes Towsure to deliver. Looking at the Terms and Conditions page on their website, it does seem to imply next day deliveries as standard, as that's what it says on the van pictured large. I fail to see why it takes so long to sort out orders. On another site I use (not caravan-related) I can order at 7pm and have the parcel delivered the next morning. The other thing is that between ordering and being told the parcel was being shipped, Towsure seems to have introduced free post and packing for orders more than £100. I wonder if I will get that?

Pete

Update to my post of the 2nd June

Towsure - what a total shower! I was told that part of my order would be forwarded. This has not happened - why does this not surprise me?

My advice is "Don't bother, it's not worth the stress"

Anyway, the order is now cancelled and when the refund arrives I shall be going elsewhere.

Used Towsure about 5 years ago,for the first and LAST time. They made such a dog's breakfast of our on-line order that I had to make a 70 mile round trip to collect what we needed. I have just looked at their website to see what bits we need for our new van are available. Is it my imagination or are there still people willing to pay their o.t.t prices ????

because of time and time again i read bad reports about online purchasing like this i tend to stay clear of them and go local. We have an abundance of camping shops in a good 15mile radius of where i live and have bought everything i need in person in their stores.
